Description

THE CHINA THREE PIECE SET SOUP TUREEN, TUREEN PLATTER, AND THE LADLE WERE MADE BY WILLIAM BROWNFIELD IN JUNE 10 1875, IN COBRIDGE, ENGLAND. IT HAS THE KAUX REGISTRATION DIAMOND MARK ON THE BOTTOM. THE CHINA IS OF IRONSTONE TRANSFERWARE CALLED THE CHASE. THE SOUP TUREEN IS IN GOOD CONDITION, THERE IS A SMALL NICK ON THE INSIDE COVER. THE PLATTER IS IN GOOD CONDITION, NO DAMAGES. IT HAS A RIM FOR THE SOUP TUREEN TO SET IN. THE LADLE HAS SOME PROFESSIONAL REPAIR DONE TO THE HANDLE. IT HAS A CRACK AND THEN REPAIRED BY USING WIRE TO HOLD IT TOGETHER. AT THE END OF THE LADLE HANDLE THERE IS A SMALL CHIP. BY BEING 145 YEARS OLD, I WOULD SAY IT IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. I TRY TO DESCRIBE EVERTHING ABOUT OF THE THREE PIECES, BUT I COULD HAVE MISSED SOMETHING.
