Zsolnay / Fischer Hungarian Basket. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
Nice piece that seems very much in the style of Zsolnay or Fischer’s work from the late 19th century. It bears neither company’s makers mark though, and has what looks like the initials BW impressed in the base. I am not able to make a direct attribution of the mark. There are additional impressed and ink marks as shown in photos. The piece stands approximately 7 1/2 inches tall, and is 7 1/4 inches in length. There is typical crazing but no chips, cracks, or hairlines. Nice period example of Eastern European work.
