    11 Real diamonds have been added to this collectible DeRosa piece, adding up to over 1 carat total weight. The diamonds are brilliant in the light. A bale has been added to the back so the brooch can also be worn as a pendant. This is a one of a kind piece. This piece can be found in Brunialti, American Costume Jewelry - Art and Industry (2008) Vol 1 p 158, designer Elvira DeRosa, dated 1946-7. There is tarnish to the sterling, but no damage or wear that I can detect other than the stick-pin is slightly wavey. Please review photos carefully as they are also a part of the description.
