Description

This is a vintage Bulgarian Troyan Feather Pulled Glaze Redware Hand Painted Plate.
The pulled glaze technique is used to create the design in the paint.
Plate measures approximately 8.75” across.
The back is marked “Troyanska Keramik Troyan” in Slavic.
The colors are a beautiful golden yellow, brick red, blue, green, off white and brown.
There are no chips or cracks, there is some crazing underneath the glaze.
The plate is designed to be hung.
