    Japanese Tanuki, also known as a Raccoon dog or Badger and appears often in Japanese folklore with some magical ability to change its shape. It is known to be very mischievous and always getting into trouble. Tanuki is usually portrayed standing upright, often wearing a cone-shaped hat over his shoulders. Always carrying a sake bottle and creditors account book at his side like this piece.
