Japanese Porcelain Figurines

I have tried to research these figures. I have seen nothing like them. The figures measure over 15 inches. I had bought this old farm house and found these in a box in the basement. They are beautiful, hand painted. No other marks. Apparently the owner many years ago was a missionary in Japan. The owner was a pretty sad guy because he had lost his wife in an accident and let the house go. I have a lot of work to get it in shape. I thought I should try and sell these to someone would would love them. I will be insuring these to meet the bid. I really don't want to let these go. I think these will bring good luck to who buys them because of the missionary service.
