    Description

    GIGANTIC PITCHER
    13 inches tall and 11 inches wide.
    Gaudy Stoneware
    Extremely Rare
    early 19th century.
    Came from a distinguised Denver, Colorado collection. Purchased at a Pook and Pook auction many years ago.  Marked on the base
    in blue "STONE CHINA" in a rectangle.  Hand-Painted notation in red script on base "1066  C"
    The apple's a typical medium size.  Condition of the pitcher is PRISTINE.  The single issue is a 1.5 inch line inside the pitcher near the base i
    n the glaze only.
    It is NOT a crack in the porecelain.
    I, nor anyone I know, has ever seen seen anything like this in comparable size.  3 inches maybe.  13 inches, never.
