#6 ANTIQUE DRIP GLAZE VASE MADE IN BELGIUM
This auction features one of many pieces in a large collection of vases, urns, bowls and other pieces made in Belgium that belonged to my grandmother.  I inherited her estate which has been in storage for many years.  I know very little about this style of pottery, exact era or value so feel free to correct me if need be.
I can add with certainty that each of these vessels is absolutely beautiful and in terrific condition.  It was an amazing experience opening the boxes and carefully removing the tissue that protected each of these pieces.  I am delighted to share this nearly forgotten family treasure with the eBay community

This vase measures 9 3/8 inches tall by 3 1/2 inches wide by 2 5/8 inches deep.  It is hand built to my eye and engraved MADE IN, 716, BELGIUM underneath.  In superb condition, it appears to have a crack at the front rim in the center leading down to the floral decoration. This is merely a raised flaw in the clay, not present on the interior and in no way compromises the integrity of the piece.  I think something must have been caught under the glaze before firing.  The glazes are beautiful in a variety of blue green hues against dark brown.  There is a circular mark mid way to the left of center on the front that is not sticker residue -- I don't know what it is or if it can be removed.  I always leave further cleaning of the patina to the new owners.
